An explosion has just occurred in a cafe in Marrakech, killing at least 14 victims and wounded several others, just report the Moroccan state news agency (MAP). Among the victims are employees of Moroccans and foreigners.
Caused by several ignite gas cylinders within the facility, the explosion would be of a criminal act, according to initial findings of the Moroccan Ministry of Interior. "Preliminary evidence gathered on site indicate that it is a criminal act, "says the Moroccan Interior Ministry in a statement carried by the official news agency MAP. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the explosion.
Coffee Argana, usually known for being frequented by foreigners, is located on the Jamaa El Fna, is considered one of the most popular tourist sites of Marrakech.
